Some of us love to get out there and indulge in a strict gym routine. Others are less likely to hit the gym, but love to play sports. Exercise is fundamental for your health and well-being. But, it can also help you strip fat and help you build on your muscle.

When it comes to exercise, you, have to be careful that you don’t do the same routine every day. You need to mix up your exercise regimen so that your body doesn’t plateau. The effects of plateauing can be detrimental to your workout. What’s more, you may end up exercising with little results. Who wants that? Well, no one. You need to maximise your workout and ensure that you are getting the best from it. While many men are keen to ramp up the weights, cardio is often neglected. You need to make sure that you are in the best possible position to get the most from your workout.

Here are five of the best exercises for men.

  1.    Walking

Walking is one of the best forms of low impact exercise. It is critical that you start walking more often. You can do it on a treadmill or go for a power walk around the block. People underrate the importance of walking. But, it’s a great cardio workout that can help you build stamina. So, dig out your best mens walking shoes and make sure that you are indulging in at least thirty minutes of walking every day.

  1.    Running

Running is imperative for your health. HIIT training ensures that you are building on stamina but also stripping fat in the process. You need to do this as part of your cardio workout. After all, there is no point building on muscle mass when fat is in existence. HIIT training on a treadmill is the best way of stripping your body of excess fat. Intercept your workout with running, sprinting and jogging. Take a slow walk and then do some hill sprints. You’ll be lean in no time.

  1.    Squats

Now it’s time to focus on muscles. Squats are vital as they help keep your butt toned and lean. You don’t want a non-existent, saggy butt. Lift weights at the same time to ensure that your core muscles and biceps are getting a workout. This adds pressure to your bottom and ensures that you are working your key leg and arm areas.

  1.    Curls

When it comes to biceps, bigger is better. So, make sure that you are grabbing a dumbbell and kicking ass when it comes to rep curls. Curling makes sure that your biceps are toned and taut. What is more, you will add more size to your arms and achieve a greater mass.

  1.    Bench Press

Bench presses are vital for your chest. If you are keen to add thickness and definition to your chest and pectorals, this is the way to do it. You are also working out your deltoids and triceps in the process. So, make sure that you are doing these regularly to build up on your muscle mass on your upper body.
