Getting away for the weekend makes life more interesting and stops you feeling like you're stuck in a rut. When you're going on a quick getaway, you want to be able to pack the essentials as fast as possible, so you don't waste precious relaxing time trying to gather your items. And the last thing you want is to realize that you've forgotten something essential, and you're a couple of hundred miles from home. Next time you go on a short break, make sure you're well prepared by packing all these must-have accessories and clothes. You'll have everything you need for an incredible weekend, and you can concentrate on having fun.

The Bag

You don't want to take too much with you for just a weekend away. If you want a stylish bag, there are lots of options that are the perfect size for a couple of days. You could go with an easily transportable lightweight, wheeled suitcase or choose something that's easier to squeeze into a small space in the car. If you're pretty relaxed about your possessions, a backpack is just fine, but for something more stylish a leather bowling bag is a hot look. 3

Clothes

A lot of guys have the tendency to take just one spare change of clothes for the weekend. That's fine if you can keep everything perfectly clean, but it could be a disaster if anything happens to your one shirt. What you take will depend on the season and what you're going to do while you're away, but it's a good idea to be well prepared. Take a spare shirt, sweater, and underwear, and perhaps even an extra pair of pants. You can check the weather and bank on it being correct or prepare for every eventuality if you're not a risk taker.

In Your Toiletry Bag

If you're a modern man who isn't ashamed of looking after himself, you might have quite a collection of products at home. But you don't want to take a whole suitcase of toiletries with you when you go away. Apart from your shower gel and hair products, an absolute must for your weekend trip is a skin care kit and your shaving supplies. Take some travel-sized items to make sure nothing takes up too much room. You might want to include a few basic medicinal products too, such as your personal vaporizer, some painkillers or your favorite hangover cure.

For Traveling

You need some entertainment while you're traveling, whether you're flying, driving or catching a train. There's no need to take up too much space with a chunky book if you have an e-reader or tablet, and don't forget something with your music library on it too. It's also a great idea to take a travel speaker with you for when you get to where you're going. And don't forget about keeping your valuables safe too. You can hide your tablet away in a cover disguised as an envelope for top-secret storage.
